THESSALY. Metropolis. Circa 300-200 BC. Trichalkon (Bronze, 20 mm, 8.09 g, 3 h). Laureate head of Apollo to right. Rev. MHTPOΠOΛΙT[ΩN] Forepart of man-headed bull left, head turned back to face the viewer; below, monogram. BCD II 483.1 (same dies). Rogers 411. Rare. An attractive example with green and red patina. Very fine.
